The sales-savvy candidates we seek will play an integral role in growing
and promoting our expanding Medicare Program by increasing
sales/awareness of the product within assigned areas and/or boroughs.
Reps will:
- Market Health Plus Elite Medicare programs to prospective members
either one on one or in group settings.
- Communicate product information and its benefits and participate in
enrollment activities.
- Actively seek new venues to promote the product including
participating in local seminars, community and special events and other
activities as assigned.
- Achieve monthly sales/enrollment goals through self-generated
marketing activities in compliance with all Federal and State mandated
guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Able to prospect, follow up and close leads that convert to
enrollments and high retention rates.
- Sensitivity in working with diverse populations and target market.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
- Able to effectively communicate information and ideas and to solicit
business.
- Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong service orientation and
customer relations abilities.
- Must be organized with good time management skills and follow up.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and
team player attitude.
Qualifications Needed:
- Minimum of 2+ years successful track record in direct to consumer
health insurance sales with preferred background in Managed care/HMO
and or Medicare sales. Medicaid knowledge and/or marketing are a plus.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Valid Driver's license with car is required.
- Flexibility in work schedule and weekend work is required as needed.
- Minimum of HS Diploma/GED required- Education above minimum is
desirable.
- Current NYS Health and Accident Insurance License required.
